The International Fragrance Association, North America will host a reception featuring selected perfumers from across the country who will exhibit custom fragrances representing their respective states. The event will be a fun, hands-on and educational experience to understand the art and science that goes into the creation of scent.
Perfumers will tell the story behind the creation of the fragrance and identify the images, textures, colors, music, arts, topography, cuisine, and other iconic structures in the state which nurtured their inspiration for the scent. Perfumers will demonstrate the sensory connection between art and fragrance, emphasizing the composition of the fragrance and inspiration for the base, middle and top notes.
